this song was written first i think and i listened to the original version so much i was never able to get into this do-over vocal take at the labels request in a real studio in front of people i'd just met. like im going to really deliver an amazing take like that. also the distorted guitar is missing entirely so my vocal is too exposed. it works better if it's competing with something imo anyway i have never listened to this version all the way through. i always have to skip.
